We are the Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) of Lone Star Ob/Gyn Associates in San Antonio, Texas, and we have been serving women and their families since 1996, utilizing our decades of combined experience in nurse-midwifery.  Each of us is firmly committed to family-centered service and to the philosophy that every woman has the right to be informed about -- and actively participate in -- her own health care.

We practice with seven Ob/Gyn physicians and offer consultation, collaborative management, or in some instances, referral of the patient to the physician, depending on the health status of each client.   You can be assured that we conduct our practice in accordance with the strict standards for the Practice of Nurse-Midwifery as defined by the American College of Nurse Midwives. We provide each client individualized and comprehensive prenatal, delivery, postpartum and family planning care.  Births take place at St. Luke’s Medical Center in one of the spacious and attractive Labor/Delivery/Recovery rooms.  We provide prenatal, postpartum and gynecological care our offices in the medical center area located in northwest San Antonio.

Our practice can provide all lab work, sonograms, and medical consultations that are needed.  Lactation consultants and classes in childbirth, breastfeeding, newborn care and infant CPR are also available at St. Luke’s Medical Center.

We are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We take your healthcare and privacy needs seriously.  All decisions about your care will be made in consultation with you.  Our goal is not only to help you maintain a positive attitude about your pregnancy and delivery but also to assist you with your care and birth experience in a safe and respectful way.
